Club Jayl
Written by: Samuel Christian
It is the future, the aftermath of human kind
rise from near extinction to become an ultra modern and extremely advanced
civilization. Yet with all these accomplishments’, humanity is still
beleaguered with the wretchedness of man. In the genre of George Lucas’s
classic “Star Wars”, Club Jayl is suspenseful while managing to showcase the
classic battle between good and evil…
AQUELLES NEPTUNE (code name SHARK), a genetically enhanced government agent
from an undersea realm, is dispatched to the surface world. His assignment;
expose a plot to start a war between the surface civilization, and the
underwater empire. He has mixed sentiment about the mission, because of his
political and social beliefs.
Shark runs into serious trouble when he encounters, NICKOLAS CHAIN, and NALANI,
who are determined to kill him and sabotage the ensuing peace conference.
With the help of MALP (Microscopic Autonomous Luminous Probe), TEODORICO
SIFFRE, and a futuristic Battlecycle, Shark overcomes a myriad of obstacles.
Intricate plotting, knife-edge action, and a remarkable cast of characters –
PLUS a breathtaking look into the future – in a tale well calculated to keep
you on the edge of your seat.
Bio:
Born in a small East Texas town in 1950, my family and I moved to a large
mid-west city in the early 60’s. We lived in the housing projects for a year.
Using the GI Bill my
father bought a house in a multi-racial neighborhood. I experienced the
assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., and the ensuing riots. Life was never
the same after that.
I graduated high school May of 1969 and joined the Army two months later. A
year after that I am humping through the jungles of South Vietnam. I have
lived through a myriad of experiences, from; Army paratrooper, over the road
truck driver, professional photographer, fugitive from justice, auto assembly
line worker, college student, husband, father, etc.
Currently, I’m busy writing screenplays and enjoying the occasional company of
my grand children.
